Kamis, 15 Agustus 2024, SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino Tangerang melaksanakan salah satu agenda rutin tahunan yaitu Misa Syukur atas Pembelajaran 2023/2024 dan Mohon Berkat Pembelajaran 2024/2025. Misa yang dipersembahkan oleh Romo Nicolaus Dibyadarmaja, SJ ini diselenggarakan di lapangan dalam sekolah, pukul 07.10, dan diikuti oleh seluruh Thomasian tak terkecuali.
Melalui misa hari ini sekolah mengucap syukur atas rahmat dan penyertaan Tuhan sehingga pembelajaran 2023/2024 berjalan lancar termasuk proses PMB. Selain itu, sekolah mohon berkat atas semua kegiatan di 2024/2025 yang terdekat adalah pelaksanaan AKN, kesehatan anggota paskibra dan upacara HUT ke-79 RI, kelancaran siswa mewakili pertukaran pelajar ke Jepang hingga mohon berkat kesehatan dan semangat dalam menjalani peran serta tugas masing-masing Thomasian.
Rangkaian misa diawali dengan lagu pembuka, ritus pembuka, ritus tobat, doa pembuka, dan bacaan pertama. Selanjutnya lantunan mazmur tanggapan oleh petugas, pemberitaan sabda Tuhan oleh Romo dan homili(khotbah). Romo dalam khotbahnya mengatakan bahwa kita sangat dikasihi oleh Tuhan maka segala dosa kita akan diampuni dan mendapat kepastian keselamatan dari Tuhan Yesus Kristus. Tuhan Yesus dari Nazaret telah bangkit dan membangkitkan jiwa raga. Tentunya hal ini menimbulkan pengharapan baru. Maka ketika saatnya kembali masuk sekolah, pengharapan itu harus senantiasa hadir dalam diri kita.
Misa awal tahun kali ini bertepatan dengan peringatan Hari Raya Santa Perawan Maria di Angkat ke surga yang diperingati setiap tanggal 15 Agustus. Melalui peringatan ini, kita semua diajak merenungkan perbuatan besar yang dikerjakan Allah bagi Maria, Bunda Kristus dan Bunda seluruh umat beriman. Bunda Maria sebagai Sang Jalan. Melalui Bunda Maria, segala doa dan harapan kita dapat sampai kepada Yesus Sang Putra. Sejalan dengan hal ini, di akhir khotbah Romo mengajak kita untuk melibatkan Bunda Maria dalam setiap doa dan pergumulan kita. Bunda Maria sebagai jalan terkabulnya doa-doa kita. Selain itu, kita pun dapat menginspirasi teladan Bunda Maria yang tetap setia, tekun dan berpengharapan atas Rahmat-Nya maka serahkanlah diri kita untuk hidup bersama dengan Tuhan.
Setelah homily, rangkaian misa dilanjutkan doa umat, ritus persembahan, penerimaan komuni, berkat dan pengutusan dari Romo, serta ditutup dengan lagu Cintailah Sesamamu. Misa pagi ini berjalan lancar, tertib, dan khidmat.(mg)
